The Tribute in Light is held every year to remember the nearly 3,000 people who died in the attacks on the Twin Towers. At 11 year of
attack by Al Qaeda, the U.S. is ready for an emotional day
Like every year, Manhattan lights with huge beams of light to honor the nearly 3,000 people who died after planes hijacked by members of the terrorist network Al Qaeda will impact on the Twin Towers.
The Tribute in Light, symbolic representation of collapsed buildings in the attacks, will screen four miles in the sky and will be visible Yorker 60 miles radius. The project was created by the Municipal Art Society of New York.
From tonight, the light rays invade the dark silence of the Big Apple.
