PEEPING INSIDE THE EYES...

To me fall is the most romantic of all seasons, with rich and strong warm colors, golden tones and crispy like the October leaves. And  I love to see it  when the leaves  are falling due to strong winds, as well as, I like to hear when I walk over the leaves in any New York city streets or in any of his beautiful  parks  and feel the sound that produce the friction of my shoes over the leaves.

But, I am not what the Americans called a leaf peeping", neither what the Japanese called momijigari, I mean the kind of person that travel to view and photograph the fall foliage in areas where foliage change colors, particularly in New England or in Ryadanji in Kyoto; but when I meet someone for the first time my vision goes to the eyes, and I love to be peeping inside them to find out the person's color balance. I mean the colors that complement his natural coloration.

    • "When I meet someone for the first time my vision goes to the eyes. I love to be peeping inside them to find out the person's color balance". John Miranda.

    • "When the Fall foliage, is in your eyes, these tone are the best for you".  John Miranda.

    • "You have to peeping inside your eyes to find your own colour palette". John Miranda.

So, If  you discover that you have the Fall foliage inside your eyes, this exactly mean, that the Fall's colors, the stronger tones of the warm palette, explicitly, the ones with yellow, orange or gold undertones like accent, are the ones that complement your own coloration.

    • "Nature always wears the color of the spirit"..., said the American, essayist, lecturer, and poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson.

And I think it is true as well as  I can said too that "our spirit and mind are inspired by the colors of nature, to choose the best shades that compliment us"..., John Miranda.

    TRICK OR TREATING...

I love the masking, why?, I do not know,  maybe it happened since the first time I went to see the Venice carnival, when I was studying fashion design in Italy  and it was there, at Piazza San Marco, that started my passion for masks and the love  for the mystery sensation that they convey.

Since them, I love to see people wearing masks.   I like the effect that produce, in mostly cases, see eyes, but at the same time the fact that you can not identified the person that it is wearing it. As well as I love to see people using a theatrical makeup, and the best day to see miles of them, here in New York, is the Halloween day.

But New York City is famous no because of  the Trick-or-treating customary practice, for children on Halloween, like in other small cities and countries, but for his Halloween parade, where people from all ages, but mostly adults, come out to the street wearing  costumes, masks and the most original makeups,  that a person has seen before, to be part of the largest Halloween parade in the world.

You never see more people on the street's in New York city,  than in  this occasion, but at the contrary of our hometowns, in this city the Village Halloween parade seem be designed for adult people instead for children’s; so only you can see a few  children’s Trick -or-treating  on the streets.
