IMAGINE A STRAWBERRY FIELDS IN NEW YORK...

Strawberry Fields is a living memorial dedicated to the memory of Beatles member John Lennon who was murdered in New York on December 8 of 1980.
This  Landscape section located in New York City's Central Park, at West 72nd Street, is named after the Beatles song "Strawberry Fields For Ever ".
In this tranquil place, which has a sense of somber atmosphere, the focal point is a circular pathway mosaic of inlaid stones, with a single word, the title of Lennon's famous song "Imagine".
It is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful mind...

Flowers arranged to form a peace sign at the memorial.
