Je t'aime... moi non plus

Je t'aime... moi non plus is an album featuring duets and solo performances by Serge Gainsbourg and his then lover, Jane Birkin. It was released in 1969 and included the worldwide hit "Je t'aime... moi non plus”.
This sensual and erotic song, achieved notoriety for its salacious lyrics with a backing of ecstatic female moaning, culminating in an apparent orgasm at the song's finale, was besides the look of the singers,  one of the topic of inspiration from the last Jean Paul Gaultier,  Primtemps-Ete 2013 collection in the Paris Fashion Week.

A FADDISH BOOK...

Today I want to share my favorite books: Conversations with God which is a sequence of books written by Neale Donald Walsch, written as a direct dialogue in which Walsch asks questions and God answers.
In an interview with Larry King, Walsch described the inception of the books as follows: at a low period in his life, Walsch wrote an angry letter to God asking questions about why his life wasn't working. After writing down all of his questions, he heard a voice over his right shoulder say: "Do you really want an answer to all these questions or are you just venting?".
Though when he turned around he saw no one there, Walsch felt answers to his questions filling his mind and decided to write them down. The ensuing dialogue became the Conversations with God books. When asked in a recent interview how does he ‘open up’ to God these days, Neale argued “I am reaching out to touch others with this information. When I reach out and touch others with this information I reconnect immediately with the divine presence.”

The first book of the Conversations with God series, Conversations with God, Book 1: An Uncommon Dialogue, appeared on bookshelves in 1995, and quickly became a publishing phenomenon, staying on the New York Times Best-Sellers List for 137 weeks. The succeeding volumes in the nine book series also appeared prominently on the List.

when he ask:
How does God talk, and to whom?
the God answer was:  “I talk to everyone. All the time. The question is not to whom do I talk, but who listen?
And God said: “My most common form of communication is through feeling. Feeling is the language of soul.
I also communicate with thought. Thought and feelings are not the same, although they can occur at the same time. In communicating with thoughts, I often use images and pictures.
In addition to feelings and thoughts, I also use the vehicle of experience as a grand communicator.
And finally, when feelings and thoughts and experience all fail, I use words"...
And he says: "The Highest thought is always that thought which contains joy.
The Clearest Words are those words which contain truth. The grandest feeling is that feeling which you call love.
Joy, truth, love.
These three are interchangeable, and always leads to the other. It matters not in which order they are placed"...

LEAFY...LEAFY...LEAFY...

THE MOVIE POSTER...

CLAUDE AND FRANCOIS-XAVIER LALANNE'S FURNITURE

CLAUDE MONET'S WATER LILIES

GOODLAND NYMPH...

The Giambattista Valli collection is like a romantic fairy tale, with piles of leafy organza, printed with Monet's water lilies, in green and wine colors, that complement with originals gilded twig necklaces, that look like inspired in Claude and Francois-Xavier Lalannes's furniture, and butterfly-net headpieces that evoked an enchanted forest, with which the models seemed like, the woodland nymphs gliding  in the catwalk.

MIDNIGHT MARAUDER...

I love colors, but what I love the most are the black and the shiny moon tones, and the ones that she reflects, like a big mirror, because of the sun rays.
And what we can see in this Armani Prive collection is this, an atmospheric trip from the beautiful sunset to a rich starry night, and you can see it in the moment when the background change.
This collection is like a “marauder midnight”, creeping over a magic, mystic and mystery catwalk.
He is playing more with the silhouettes mixing an evening gown cutting  in a half, with a man blazer which is cut it in a half too, to create a new outfit.
Now Armani is not anymore the simple minimalist designer, so he is now more than that, more shinny, richer in silhouettes, fabrics and textures.

AN ACID TRIP ...

The art always goes with fashion, and a major contemporary art lover, Ray Simons chose paintings by American artist Sterling Ruby as motifs for four outfits in his collection giving to the ultra-chic monochrome black collection, a touch of “An Acid Trip” that he mixed with the Duchess of Windsor style, remembering us the past “New look” of Christian Dior, but really is the Neo-look Dior debutante Raf Simons.

A FADDISH PRESIDENT...

Mr. Barack Obama is our Faddish president, because of his reelection and because of what said yesterday in his speech:
“America, I believe we can build on the progress we've made and continue to fight for new jobs and new opportunity and new security for the middle class. I believe we can keep the promise of our founders, the idea that if you're willing to work hard, it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from or what you look like or where you love. It doesn't matter whether you're black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native American or young or old or rich or poor, able, disabled, gay or straight, you can make it here in America if you're willing to try.
I believe we can seize this future together because we are not as divided as our politics suggests. We're not as cynical as the pundits believe. We are greater than the sum of our individual ambitions, and we remain more than a collection of red states and blue states. We are and forever will be the United States of America.
And together with your help and God's grace we will continue our journey forward and remind the world just why it is that we live in the greatest nation on Earth”.
